My name is Alistair Thornton and I have been working in the fitness industry for the last seven years. I qualified as a personal trainer in 2009 and have since built up my knowledge and expertise within the health and fitness industry. I have gained a well established and dedicated client base over the years and pride myself on keeping up to date with the latest health and fitness revelations. I am qualified to teach various group exercise classes including spin, metafit, metabolic, boxercise, abs and core, circuits and many more. I also have additional qualifications in diet and nutrition and sport therapy.
My main aim is to support and encourage individuals to achieve their own personal goals. I like my clients to notice a difference within their overall health, fitness and wellbeing whilst boosting their confidence and sense of accomplishment. I am always learning by keeping myself in tune with the latest training techniques and put them into practise within my sessions.
I would regard myself as an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual, having competed in numerous marathons and half marathons and other long distance events in my spare time.
